simple fun with music

Music is an amazing thing, i know i stress this in every post, however i completely agree with it! Since I'm having a bad case of writers block, I've decided to go into detail about a time that i had a great time listening to music.

The summer of 2013 was the summer i became best friends with Allie Payne, she is still my best friend to this day. Although we are very different we are also similar in a lot of ways and are pretty much perfect as best friends.

Some of my best memories were from last summer. Allie had a foreign exchange student named Cilea and Allie and I showed her all about what it was like to be a teenager in Cedar Rapids Iowa. This involved pretty much just driving around town blasting music. Me and Allie don't really listen to the same thing music wise, however we both agreed that we should listen to more of a pop type music because that's what Celia seemed to like.

One day we all decided to go to Palo beach and so we all piled into Allies little two door Ford Escort and book it to the beach, on the way there we were blasting Katy Perry and we were all screaming it on the top of our lungs while speeding waaaay to fast down the road! We were having a blast and didn't care about anything else. We were literally carefree. This is and forever will be one of my favorite summers. we danced in the rain, splashed in puddles, drove everywhere (also with the music blasting) and were inseparable, all three of us were always together, and sometimes they guys were there too. We jumped in the river from the docs, we swam all the time, we were constantly outside and constantly having a blast!
Although this doesn’t have much to do with music, I thought  that they were good memories and they remind me of how music can bring us together. Allie is my best friend, and although we fight, there is nothing that will ever truly separate us, and music is one of the things that will keep us together, we listen to very different things, but both of us will always listen to what the other wants, we take turns and sometimes find that we like what it is the other chose. Oath is our song and it is so perfect to describe our relationship. I love Allie, and I love music.
