traffic laws 2

this is just part 2

In drivers ed they teach you to steer hand over hand, but studies have shown that doing this can cause you to break both of your wrists if in and accident while doing this. This does not mean that you shouldn't keep both hands on the wheel at all times, it just means that you should adjust the way that you steer.
Following the traffic rules is very important while driving. You should move forward only when the road is clear. Avoid overtaking other vehicles. While crossing an intersection you should be more careful. The most important thing is to follow the signal. Start the engine only when the light is green. Stop the car when red signal is shown. Slow down the car at crosswalks and let the people cross the road. And only pass cars in front of you if it is necessary and when doing so make sure that it is safe to do so.
While making a turn the driver should be aware of a number of things. Avoid making a last minute turn. Slow down before making a turn. Give turn signals to other vehicles while changing lane. If you want to make a turn in an intersection and you can not find proper lane move on to the next intersection and make the turn. It is better to miss the turn and ensure your safety and make it and risk an accident.
When driving near a motorized vehicle it is important to make sure that you know where it is they are around you, they unlike you in your inclosed vehicle are in more danger of getting hurt in an accident, because they don't have anything (other than (hopefully) a helmet)it is important that while they are driving you stay in one lane and let them pass you or continue at a constant speed.
Do not drive drunk, driving drunk has become a huge problem. If you are going to drink make sure that you have a designated drive to ensure your safety as well as others. Driving under the influence will impair your reaction time, your decision making skills, your motor skills, awareness is decreased and judgment is impaired. If you are intoxicated it is very dangerous to drive and a lot of lives have been lost to drunk driving.

Driving laws and regulations were made to ensure the safety of all people on the road, make sure that when you are behind the wheel of a car that you fallow them to the best of your ability to keep you and others safe.

Traffic laws

I have lost my license twice now and i have decided to raise awareness and write some basic information on laws of the road. Here is what i found

We came up with traffic rules and such so that the roads would be safer and we would know who is liable for the accident. Every year over 1.17 million people die in road crashes around the world, this is mainly because people don't always obey traffic laws, or use smart driving skills.

When driving people should always make sure to never speed. speed limits are made to insure the safety of you and the people on the road around you. It is important to make sure that not only do you not speed but that you don't drive to slow. if people around you are driving 10 mph faster than you it can increase the risk of an accident. Also when speeding if you crash at a faster rate the crash will be a lot more dangerous. We made speeding limits because it is greatly believed that if we didn't have them people would speed all the time. Speed limits are different in different areas of town to make sure that everyone is safe. In residential areas the speed limit is much slower because there can be children at play, dogs roaming around, etc, so no matter where you are make sure that when driving you obey the speed limits.
It is very important that while driving a person should always make sure that they can see to the best of their ability. Not only should one be wearing their glasses or contacts if needed they should also make sure that their windshields are clean and scraped as needed. seeing is a huge part of driving if you cant see then you are at risk of getting in an accident. Not only should your windshield be clear, but your windows and rear windshield as well. It is difficult enough to see behind and around you while your windows are clean, let alone when they are dirty. Many accidents can happen if you cant see properly.
For a lot of people (mainly teenagers) distractions in the car are a big issue, weather it be their cell phones, their music being way to loud, their friends being crazy while in the car, etc. getting rid of or even limiting these distractions makes a huge difference on how well a person drives. distractions can cause the drivers eyes to be off the road for even a second and this makes them at big risk. make sure that (especially if you are a teen) when driving you should never have your music to loud, (you need to be able to hear what it is that is going on around you) that if you do have passengers in your car that the number should be limited and that they are not to much of a distraction, and that you NEVER text and drive, or even talk on the phone and drive, it limits your thinking ability while you are driving.

Keep your eyes on the road! When driving you need to have your eyes on the road at all times, you never know if something like a kid, dog, deer, etc might jump in the road in front of you. maybe even the driver in front of you might stop suddenly and you wont even know it because your eyes weren't on the road. even if for a second your eyes are off the road it can be dangerous. make sure to be limit distractions in your car when driving. Not only should your eyes  be on the road at all times, they should always be moving (seeing whats going on around you) you should be looking at whats going on everywhere in your line of sight. Weather its the car that is right behind you, or the kids playing with the ball on the sidewalk to your left, you can not control what others are doing around you, but you can control how fast you react to it, or changing your speed to the things around you. you should always know whats going on around you.

When driving never assume that everyone else knows what their doing drive defensively. most people will trust the other drivers will stop when their supposed to and fallow all of the traffic laws without even thinking, but that's how accidents happen. you can not always trust that everyone on the road is going to do as they should. You shouldn't assume that at a four way stop after you stop that the car that is coming to the intersection is going to stop, wait a few seconds and make sure that they really are going to stop, then proceed.

Drowsy driving is extremely dangerous, your reaction time is slower, awareness is decreased and judgment is impaired, it can be just as dangerous as driving drunk. not only are you putting yourself at risk by driving when tired, but you are also putting those on the road around you at risk. If you are drowsy don't drive, if you absolutely need to be somewhere you can have someone else drive, don't put others at risk.
Adjusting your driving habits to the weather is very important while you are driving. if the road is slick or wet you should be sure to drive a little slower, and to increase your breaking distance (distance it takes you to come to a complete stop). If a huge storm is coming it may be necessary to pull over and wait for the storm to pass over, even if it interferes with your curfew, yours and other peoples safety is more important.

Obey traffic signals and signs. If no one obeyed traffic signals or signs that driving world would be chaos. there are reason for traffic signal and obeying them will limit your risk of getting in an accident.
Night time driving for beginning drivers can be dangerous, it is harder to drive at night because it can be difficult to see, sometimes street lights and head lights are not good enough for people to be able to see, if you feel that it is difficult to see at night then you should have another person drive, or limit your night driving time. Make sure that if you do drive at night to keep a close eye on everything around you.
Teens are the most likely age group to not wear a seat belt, and i can not stress enough how dangerous that it is. when you don't wear a seat belt you can be thrown through the car windshield. Wearing a seat belt can save your life in an accident.

Dancing and music

Dancing and music go together like 2 peas in a pod. I do not know about everyone but everyone that I know cannot help dancing when there is a good beat playing. There is something about it that just makes you want to move. Whether you are a good dancer or not dancing can always be fun. You can do anything from the salsa to wall twerking.
Some dancing can be playful and flirty, while others can be graceful and beautiful. Some can be naughty and sexual, some can be just simply dorky (like the robot) dancing isn’t just something to do when you are bored, it is a sport. Its watched by people all over the world, there are competitions that are held and can win people a large sum of money.
There are dance competitions at young ages, and people devote their lives to dance just like they do music, they go hand in hand and can make something beautiful! Not only can music sound beautiful but it can create people to preform beautifully!
I myself have never been a good dancer, but music has always been a big part of my life and because of this I watch competitions a lot. I judge based on how the dance makes the music come to life. A dance can tell the story of the song, or it can tell a story of what a song means to that person. It makes the music have even more feeling and gives it a little oomph. I love dance almost as much as I love music itself.
Next time you dance with your friend let the music speak to you and base your dance moves come from the music, If you aren’t an actual dancer you will probably look like a huge dork, but you will also have way more fun!

Father Daughter Dance

Me and my father have always, and hopefully always will be, close. When I was little I would always play princess and he would be my prince and dance with me. This is kind of weird to think about now, however it also makes me miss my father, and makes me not want to grow up!

This post is less about music and a little more about growing up. Its sad to think that one day you grow up and you're just "to old" to play princess with your dad, or have tea parties etc. But let me tell you something, you are never to old! never think you're to old to do anything (except for wearing piggy tails when you're over the age of 10) Last night my nephew was watching the movie Frozen and my dad decided out of the blue to get up from his seat come over to me give me his hand, bow, and ask me to dance. I of course said "Why thank you kindly sir! I would be honored to dance with such a lovely gentleman!" So we got up and started to dance! he twirled me around as my nephew clapped and clapped, and this is what made me realize that I didn't want to grow up! That no matter what, it always felt good to dance with my father!

I love my dad more than just about anything, and he can always cheer me up, whether it be something as simple as giving me a hug or making a huge effort and trying to dance with me! If you love your daddy, I'm more than sure that he would love it if you would like to dance with him, because I know for a fact that every dad, as they watch their little girl (who may not be so little any more) grow up they miss the little things you did as a girl. I remember the day I stopped playing princess, the day I started hanging out with my friends more and more and my father less and less, my dad is my best friend, he always will be, however sometimes things get in the way. As you grow up you grow apart, and you develop into your own person. That is what scares every parent the most! did they raise you up well enough to be a well developed person on your own? Did they mess up somewhere along the line?

Parents are who mold you into who you are, and if you have good ones like I do, remember who you were when you were young, and show them that you are still that little girl, but that you are also so much more! Give your father that dance he misses! You're NEVER to young!

Babies and music

I don't know about all babies, this is just based of the ones that I know well. Like my nephew for instance, he LOVES music! Any kind of music really. I don't know what it is but he loves to dance, he totally puts himself out there. He likes everything, if its rock music, he will head bang, if its rap he baby break dances, he twirls with some types, sways with others. He has this one specific toy that plays music that he will turn on and dance to, when it turns off he cries and goes to turn it back on.

Like I said I don't know if this is the same with all babies, but I do know that music can even bring babies extreme happiness, and change their emotions entirely. I love my nephew more than anything in this world, and so far we share a common love for music. Not only does he dance to music, like I’ve said 100 times before, he loves all kinds of music. He will literally dance to anything.

To show you that even babies love to dance, I’m going to post some baby dancing videos!
