So, honestly if it weren't for this class I would never have started a blog. I'm not one to write out in the open about facts and all this, in fright that maybe I'm wrong or maybe I'm not as great of a writer as I think. However I'm only in high school so as far as I'm concerned it doesn't really matter except for a grade. I do hope that I can become a more experienced researcher and maybe learn more about writing in the process.
For this blog my teacher made me choose a topic of interest, my choice was music and its history. Whether it be about history of a band or history as in how generations change music over time, or even what genre was most popular when and how that has changed over the years, will probably change depending how I'm feeling that day. I chose music because all of my life I have been in love with it. I love the way it sounds (most of it) and I love the way it can change how I feel at that moment. I also love that there is always a song that explains the exact way I'm feeling at ever moment. Music is a way to express feelings and tell stories in a very effective way.
For me there is never to much I can learn about music. I can learn about each band and how fascinating their history is (how they started, how they ended (if they ended) and if drugs affected them) I can read about how each type of music started and how they changed over time (maybe into a new type of music). And I can research different kinds of music in different places around the world. With music there are many different options to research. I can research job fields for music. I can research different instruments! I am kind of excited for this blog and I look forward to having you read all that I have learned.
Thank you for posting! But, make sure that you keep up with the 2-post-800-word minimum.
